In September 1999, a few faithful Audi owners gathered for the inaugural PCC Audi Club Charity Fun Run. Continuing the tradition, PCC’s 24rd Charity Fun Run (20th in the Fall) is once again on the calendar.  Another day of scenic roads, great cars, terrific food, and wonderful company.  The registration fee is $25 plus fees, and net proceeds once again will be donated to the University of Virginia Medical Center Parkinson’s Research Fund.  This event is limited to the first 25 registered vehicles.

Overview:
Thanks to our sponsor, Matt Curry’s Craftsman Auto Care, with locations in the Alexandria/Springfield and Fairfax/Fair Oaks area each registered driver will receive a give-away.

Due to timing, we will meet for an optional, hearty breakfast at The Little Grill Collective on Main Street in Harrisonburg, VA at about 9:30am. The Little Grill has been a restaurant in Harrisonburg, VA since the 1940’s manifesting in many incarnations under many different owners. It’s a friendly city original, worker owned since 2003. The restaurant is consistently rated as a top breakfast and vegetarian spot in the ‘burgh!  Please plan to pay separately.

The Fun Run drive covers approximately 190 miles through some of the best twisty country roads you have ever experienced, with interesting and scenic rest stops along the way including Greenbank, WV and Goshen Pass, VA before, and concludes at the historic Osceola Mill Country Inn outside of Staunton, VA around 5:00 PM.  The Osceola Mill will be set up to provide refreshments and dinner for the participants (not included in the registration fee).   The Osceola Mill proprietors, Kevin and Kim Daly, are car aficionados and always provide a warm welcome to our club.  Our event coordinators will contact you to confirm if you are interested in joining the group for dinner.

For those from the DC-metro area, you have the option of joining a caravan starting from& Audi of America Headquarters (2200 Ferdinand Porsche Drive, Herndon, VA 20171) to travel together to the Bluestone Vineyard. Some refreshments will be provided and we should be able to get a look at some of the cars in the Audi Forum. The caravan will depart AoA HQ promptly at 7:15 AM.
